Hello! I'm Melissa, a mission-driven writer and content strategist with a career rooted in healthcare, education, and equity. I've consistently sought out roles that merge my love of language with a commitment to social impact.
Over the past 20+ years, I've worked across sectors — leading digital content initiatives, developing health-literate messaging, launching marketing campaigns, and securing millions in grant funding for nonprofits.
Along the way, I’ve helped thousands of New Yorkers enroll in health plans. I've helped launch a user-friendly textbook catalog for college students. I've secured donations providing mentors, arts programming, and community health centers to those most in need. And I’ve authored content for a human rights journal advocating for the release of international dissidents.
